Green Hub, a collaborative initiative between the North East Network (NEN) and Dusty Foot Productions (DFP) is a video documentation and training center for wildlife, environment and people’s biodiversity. It is a first of its kind youth and community based digital archive which aims to renew and revive respect for conservation of natural resources through an innovative approach of collating and optimizing content across all digital platforms.

 

The Green Hub’s objective is to create alternative livelihood options for the youth of the area. The project is instrumental in bringing together all the work happening in biodiversity conservation in the northeast through the resource hub.

 

At the resource hub, our vision is to become a knowledge center for the northeast that engages and empowers the youth of the region. We hope to inspire them to capture the spirit of the wild through the visual medium and enable the creation of a digital archive. Our aim includes building a strong network of all individuals, organizations and groups working towards nature conservation - the end result being a platform for learning, information sharing and informed action.
